Below is a link to the Google support site that explains how to mark a message as spam - the instructions include how to do this from your computer as well as your Android or Apple devices.  The more people that mark suspicious messages as spam, the more likely Google is going to notice and start to block the email address from which these messages are being sent. The IT Director cannot do this as the administrator of the system, and if you forward the suspicious message it cannot be marked as spam since it came from your email address.
